2. Otto Fred Heinzmann¹ was born on 18 Mar 1896 in Meridian Township, Clinton County, Illinois.³ According to Carl F. Heinzmann, Otto could have been born across the road from the Alberger School west of Glenridge. He appeared in the census on 7 Jun 1900 in East Fork Township, Clinton County, Illinois.⁴ He lived South of Joe Noller's farm in Clinton County, Illinois about 1900. He lived home place north of Shattuc in Clinton County, Illinois between 1900 and 1914. He lived in Sandoval, Marion County, Illinois about 1915. He lived on Grandpa Reynold's farm north of Ferrin in Clinton County, Illinois after 1915. He lived on the Hahn farm north east of Shattuc in Clinton County, Illinois after 1916. He was a railroad worker for CBQRR about 1917/18 in Shattuc, Clinton County, Illinois. He lived in the last house in Shattuc, Clinton County, Illinois after 1917. He was a railroad worker for the CBQRR at the yards about 1918 in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois. He lived in the north part of town, north of the CBQ yards and east of the Bobby Dick mine in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois after 1918. He was moved here by the CBQRR. He was a dairy farmer between 1923 and 1959 in Shattuc, Clinton County, Illinois. He lived in south east part of town in Shattuc, Clinton County, Illinois between 1923 and 1925. He lived on the old Thomas farm (where Maxine lives now) in Shattuc, Clinton County, Illinois between 1932 and 1959. He lived on Fairfax Street in Carlyle, Clinton County, Illinois between 1959 and 1974. He moved to Carlyle after having a heart attach at age 63 forcing him to retire from farming. He died from heart failure on 9 Jun 1974 in Saint Joseph's Hospital, Breese, Clinton County, Illinois. He was buried about 11 Jun 1974 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Centralia, Marion County, Illinois.⁵ Otto Fred Heinzmann and Isabelle Reynolds were married on 1 Jul 1914 in Carlyle, Clinton County, Illinois.^6,7 Their marriage date could be 02-Jul-1914. This is the date shown in Benjamin F. Reynold's bible. The marriage record shows 1 Jul 1914 (book 4, page 7, lic# 552.)

Isabelle Reynolds was born on 16 Apr 1898 in East Fork Township, Clinton County, Illinois.^4,8 She appeared in the census in 1910 in East Fork Township, Clinton County, Illinois.⁹ She was educated 8th grade. She was beautician. She lived in Breese Nursing Home, Breese, Clinton County, Illinois. She died of generalized sepsis on 30 Dec 1993 in Saint Joseph's Hospital, Breese, Clinton County, Illinois.⁸

Isabelle Heinzmann, 95
Mrs. Isabelle Heinzmann, 95, of Carlyle died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese.
Born in East Fork Township on April 16, 1898, she was a daughter of Frank and Anna Hicks Reynolds. On July 1, 1914, she married Otto F. Heinzmann. He died June 9, 1974.
Mrs. Heinzmann's survivors include one son, Carl F. Heinznann of Carlyle; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Cole of Shattuc; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-greatgrandchild and three great-great-greatgrandchildren. [Note by Frankie C. Heinzmann: At the time of her death she actually had 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.]
She was a retired beautician and member of the First United Methodist Church in Carlyle.
Rev. John Vidakovich officiated at services held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. She was buried on 3 Jan 1994 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Centralia, Marion County, Illinois.⁵ She was described as a tiny woman, barely 5 foot tall with red hair and right handed. Maxine Heinzmann Cole reports that Isabelle used to tell her she was a distant relative of William Jennings Bryant.

Her hobbies were playing cards and visiting.
