I am so impressed with your website. I am not a Heinzmann, but one of my Hoehn cousins married into the family. You have done so much work and all is very well sourced. It's very impressive and something I strive to emulate.
Also have been using the Clinton County GenWeb for years. Thanks for all your efforts there and here. Best regards, Nancy

Congratulations on a useful and informative website.
I was wondering if you have any information about a Gottlob Herman Heinzmann, born Birkach, Germany on Sept. 6, 1885.
He arrived in Australia on Nov. 17, 1911 per the ship "Bremen" and disembarked at Sydney.
No trace of him after 1915.
Thank you,
June.

I love your website! My great grandmother was Louise Heinzman from Shattuck, IL, daughter of Fred Heinzman & Amelia Ziems. I haven't been to a Heinzman Reunion since the 50th at the Ferrin school. I live out of state and have 3 boys who start school the 2nd week of August. Bad timing for me to travel. :(

Hi,
Have been on the Clinton county genweb site and discovered photos of my grandfather Henry Wempe ,my mother Lidwina Wempe, her brother,my uncle Urban Wempe with Max the pup he rescued when he was serving in Germany and I believe,my great grandmother Julia Mondt.Don't know if the photo of the older gentleman in the following picture is a Schonhoff or a Wempe, but I think it is one of my great grandparents.Just wondering how you acquired these photos or if someone else sent them in? Have been concentratring on my father s family which is White but occasionally check out Clinton county.Oh and Viola Wempe is my aunt, sister to Urbie. Thanks for any light you can shed.Pat

I enjoyed hunting with this man while living in the Skagit Valley area. I was sad to hear of his passing and I will remember our hunts always.
