5. Frances Anna Sargent was born about 1836 in Saint Clair County, Illinois.^1,5,6 Regina Davidson lists the date of birth as "circa 1840". Dr Bill Sargent lists the date of birth as "1836" in a letter and "about 1840" in an article. She appeared in the census in 1840 in Saint Clair County, Illinois.⁴ She immigrated about 1882 to Kansas.⁹

Frances Anna Sargent and Michael Carr were married on 30 Apr 1858 in Saint Clair County, Illinois.⁶ Francis and Michael Carr migrated to Kansas circa 1882. Michael Carr (son of Joseph Carr and Sarah McMurty) was born in 1835.⁵ Frances Anna Sargent and Michael Carr had the following children:
