Adelpha Speiser, 84
Route Four Carlyle resident, Mrs. Adelpha "Midge" Speiser, died
Saturday, Nov. 9th, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was 84 years
old.
Born in Carlyle on May 8th, 1912, Mrs. Speiser was a daughter of Fred and
Fannie Allen Meier. On Sept. 20th, 1933, in Carlyle she married Edward L. Speiser.
He died June 28th, 1995.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bernadine "Didge" Huegen of
Albers and Mrs. Mary Berger of Spring Hill, Fla., and one stepbrother, Carl Cook
of Carlyle.
Mrs. Speiser was a charter member of the Clinton County Homemakers Extension.
Her funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12th, at the Frerker Funeral
Home in Carlyle with Rev. Jerome Feldmann officiating. Burial followed in St.
Mary's cemetery in Carlyle.
Visitation was at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
