Noel Johnson, 81

Trenton resident Noel D. Johnson died April 13 at his home. He was 81 years old.

Born in Santa Fe township on Feb. 14 1912, he was a son of Alexander and Mabel Walker Johnson. On Oct. 15 1932, he married Laura Margaret Crocker. She died March 14, 1993.

Survivors include four sons, Alex Johnson of Burke, Va., Rev. Dr. Douglas Johnson of Ridgewood, New Jersey, Wayland Johnson of Newtown, Conn., and Ralph Johnson of O'Fallon; one daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Oram of Palo Alto, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Alex Johnson of Carlyle, and two sisters; Mrs. Gladys Zachry of Carlyle and Mrs. Uldene Woolbright of Aviston.

Mr. Johnson was a maintenance supervisor at the Alton Lock and Dam. He was a member of the Trenton Masonic Lodge and served as Master in 1989.

He also was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton where his funeral was held at 10:00 am. Saturday, April 17. Rev. Michael Ebersohl officiated with burial in Carlyle cemetery.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton was in charge of arrangements.

3. Laura Margaret Crocker was born on 15 Oct 1912 in Carlyle Township, Clinton County, Illinois. She died on 14 Mar 1993 in Saint Joseph's Hospital, Breese, Clinton County, Illinois.³ She was buried on 17 Mar 1993 in Carlyle Cemetery, Carlyle, Clinton County, Illinois. She was Marge's Sewing Shop in Trenton, Clinton County, Illinois. Children were:
