400. William Chowning was born in 1695.^37,44 Jim Allison shows his birth as circa 1693. William Chowning and Jeanette were married. I know this family is not correct but I do not have enough information.
Dr Bill Sargent, in a letter dated 17 Aug 1995, to Frankie C. Heinzmann,
lists George Chowning as the son of William and Ann. In the same
paragraph he states that Jeanette is listed as named executor of Georges
will and that she appeared before the court of Caroline County, VA. in
Sep 1799 and asked to be replaced as executor.
